Exodus 34: 29-35

When Moses spent time in the presence of God, his face shown/ reflected the glory of God so much that the people would not be able to stand it. When we spend time at the feet of Jesus our lives will shine too before people! Don't be offended if you lose past friends because of your fellowship with God! They can't bear the shine!

Exodus 34: 8-9

Moses, as God's appointed leader over Israel, interceded for them before God. As the appointed leader over my wife and children, I need to do the same thing, and interced for them when they do wrong.

Exodus 33: 11

When Israel sinned before God, Moses moved the tabernacle to the outside of the camp, and the people came to Moses, spoke to him, face to face, and then returned to the camp; everyone except Joshua! Joshua stayed behind and had an extra blessing of being with Moses as he spoke to God.

We should not be hasty to leave the tabernacle. Maybe, if we stick around, God will give us an extra blessing!

Exodus 32: 26

The question is posed, not only to the people of Israel, but also to the child of God, "Who is on the Lord's side?"

We need to dedicate ourselves to our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, and spiritually seperate ourselves apart, not only from unbelievers, but also from brothers and sisters in Christ who refuse to live holy before God. This is a problem with many Christians today. They are convinced that they need to live like the world to reach the world. Instead, we need to "gather ourselves unto the LORD" and commit our lives to obey Him, even if we are rejeced by others.

Exodus 32: 24

I find it interesting that when Moses confronted Aaron with his sin, Aaron responded with lies. According to Aaron, when he threw the gold into the fire, out popped this calf! But if you read vss 1-4, you can see that Aaron fashioned the calf himself.

We are the same way. It is easy to make excuses for our sin, making it appear to be nt as bad as it really is. Instead, we need to confess our sin, and make no excuses for it.

Exodus 32:7-14

God wanted to destroy the people for their idolatry, but Moses interceded in their behalf. This was probably a test for Moses. Think about it: God is omniscient (all knowing) and omnipotent (all powerful). He was not caught off guad by Israel's actions. God wanted to confront Moses and see what he was made of. As a good leader, he interceded for his people.

Exodus 32:1-6

People naturally drift toward evil.

Romans 3:10-12
10 As it is written, There is none righteous, no, not one: 11 There is none that understandeth, there is none that seeketh after God. 12 They are all gone out of the way, they are together become unprofitable; there is none that doeth good, no, not one.

Romans 3:23
23 For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God;

I John 1:8
8 If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us.

This is why we need to attend a Bible-believing, soul-winning church, and submit ourselves to Godly authority.

Exodus 31

Bezaleel was gifted by God as an artisan to craft works for God. No matter what your occupation, you can use them for God's glory if you dedicate yourself and your work to the LORD.

Exodus 29

A lot of blood was spilled for the sins of man. Blood from innocent lambs. This was a picture of the Lamb of God who, though innocent, died and spilled His blood for our sins!

Exodus 28

When Aaron performed his duties before the LORD, he had the names of thetwelvetribes engraved in precious stones, and laid upon his heart. We needto dothe same with our loved ones. When we go to God in prayer we needto standbefore God with our loved ones engraved preciously upon our hearts.
